Media Resources
In an effort to shed some light on the complexities of the nation's child welfare and justice systems, Juvenile Law Center has created resources for members of the media and others who would like to learn more about these systems.
Resources include:
- An overview of the child welfare system, including how it's regulated, the court's responsibilities, and placement options and challenges
- An overview of youth in the juvenile and criminal justice systems, including the juvenile court's origin and evolution, how the juvenile justice system differs from the adult criminal system, research in juvenile crime, and issues facing juveniles in the justice system
- A glossary of commonly used terms, filtered by child welfare or juvenile and criminal justice
- "Pursuing Justice," Juvenile Law Center's blog and podcast
